Sigma 7, the duo from Tenerife formed in 1996, releases their new vinyl under the record label 13monkeys Records. This EP titled “Old Jewels” consists of 2 original songs that were previously released by different record labels, new remixes of both tracks are included.

On side A, listeners can enjoy an authentic work of art with the singer Esther Ovejero. This track is titled “The Voice” and was released under the Seven Records label in 2000.

In the case of “The Voice”, Adam Vyt and Aggresivnes manage to give it a more modern touch, masterfully recreating the pianos and adding acids that give it a fresh and modern touch. The marked rhythm base gives it even more energy, making it a real hit on the dance floor.

The next track, originally titled “Planet 7,” is found on the B-side of the vinyl. However, due to a design error on the back cover, it appeared as “Underup” instead of “Planet 7.” The song was released in 1998 under the Heya Records label.

GUAU, owner of the 83 record label, is in charge of remixing “Planet 7” and shows us his personal touch on this track. Highlights are the line of acids that create a psychedelic atmosphere and the strong batteries that give it an extra boost. He has managed to create a powerful and energetic version that is sure to be a hit at any event.
