Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

1. Entry: Purchase any product from our Back Catalogue ("Back Cat") collection (HERE) to enter the prize draw. These items are tagged in red "Back Cat". There are a max 80 slots open in this prize draw. NOTE: 1 entry per order for now* — see Rule 13 for what happens if the wheel doesn't fill.
2. Top Prize: 1 x £100 Def Star Gift Card for the winner There are 7 additional prizes of various vinyl and £10 giftcard bundles (details to be announced).
3. Everyone who enters will be sent a FREE T-shirt code worth £15 after the draw for the 8 winners has been made. The code is redeemable on any T-shirt on the www.defstar.co.uk website BUT is only valid with a future vinyl purchase eg Free T-shirt with your next order — code is valid until 31 May 2026. It's one T-shirt code per person.
4. Draw Date: Monday 4th May 2026 8pm announced on a Facebook Live stream on the Return Of the Vibe Facebook Page — utilising the Turntable of Fortune.
5. Eligibility: Any signed up Def Star Customer 18+. Purchases must be made on www.defstar.co.uk — purchases made on Ebay or Discogs do not count for this draw.
6. Winner Notification: The winners will be contacted by email around the draw date and announced in the weekly Def Star mailout  There is no time limit to spend the £100 Gift Card Top Prize — the additional £10 giftcard / test press bundles must be redeemed by 31 May 2026 after which they will be forfeited.
7. Draw Method: Winners will be selected at random from all qualifying entries via The Turntable of Fortune. Entrants will be allocated a number at random from the Turntable of Fortune — no moaning that the segments aren't 100% even, we made it late at night on a Sunday and drew them by hand. 1 prize per person, if the Turntable of Fortune picks the same number or someone who has already won something, it will be respun til a new winner is selected.
8. Only products in the "Back Cat" qualify to enter the draw — these will be found in the Back Cat section of the store, are clearly marked with a red "Back Cat" banner on the product page and a link to the competition page. Other products may be purchased in the same order but only "back cat" products gain entry to the draw.
9. We reserve the right to change or update these Ts and Cs at any time for any reason although we aren't intending to — please bear with us as we roll this out, there might be something we haven't thought through properly but this is being run in good faith.
10. In any disputes Def Star Enterprises Ltd's decision will be final (no melty idiots basically please).
11. No cash prize alternative will be offered — if you can't spend a £100 Def Star giftcard on vinyl or anything else in our store, then there is something seriously wrong with you.
12. The draw relates to qualifying purchases made from 8pm on Sunday 26th April 2026. Last entry will be 8pm Sunday 3rd May 2026.
13. The 80-entry cap and multi-entry contingency: Due to the fact there's only 80 segments on the current Turntable of Fortune and we can't be arsed to make another one right now, and also each T-shirt per entrant will be hand printed — entries will be capped at 80 in total for this draw. It's 1 entry per order for now. If we get over 80 entries before 3rd May we will stop taking new entries. HOWEVER — if the wheel hasn't filled by the deadline, any orders containing multiple back cat items may  be retrospectively allocated additional entries to fill the wheel. So buying multiple back cat items in one order doesn't penalise you — your additional entries just only count if there's space on the wheel. Any extra entries beyond 80 made before the draw is halted will roll onto next week and people will be advised.
14. We will pick the winners starting with the top prize first, then the next 7 winners 1 at a time.
15. The list of vinyl up for grabs WITH SOUNDCLIPS in this week's prize draw will be announced shortly — we will pick winners in sequence and vinyl cannot be swapped — you get what you win — MAX 1 PRIZE PER ENTRANT.
16. We will allocate each entrant a number between 1 and 80 on the Turntable of Fortune and publish the list of numbers prior to the draw.
17. T-shirt codes will be sent after the draw has taken place — all entrants get a Free T-shirt code — note it is Free T-shirt with your next vinyl order offer.
