Following up on last year's debut release, Chontane returns with Manx, the second EP on his label, TANE — a five-track collection (four on vinyl) continuing his exploration of sound design. The title track sets the stage with a dark, hypnotic presence, fusing a powerful kick with resonant toms, deep subs and eerie pads. "Gazebo" balances driving rhythms with a melodic core, while the B-side leans into shadowy territory with "Oolean"'s metallic percussion and throbbing bassline, closing with "Isopode"'s dreamy, atmospheric melodies over a robust kick.
